This is my Grandfather William (Nobby) Clarke who was a Company Sergeant Major in the Dandy Ninth regiment allied to the Royal Scots. This photo was taken in WW1 and probably in Flanders. He was wounded and discharged as a result of his wounds.He died in 1922, my Grannie believed as a result of his wounds.
